About Ruby Red
The idea for Ruby Red grew and grew during the 18 months sabbatical Mike and Martine took in 2005. We had given up our high flying jobs to travel around South East Asia and spent a lot of that time with the locals, discovering effective natural apothecary remedies for keeping skin looking healthy and glowing.
Naturally healthy skin…
On our return to the UK, we couldn’t wait to share what we had learnt and this is where Martine’s background in skin and bodycare came in handy. We got together a team of passionate people to create a range of effective, natural products; all freshly made from the very best active plant ingredients which naturally have pharmacologically benefits to boosts the skin’s performance without the use of harsh chemicals.

We believe in the affect of botannical aromas on the body and soul. We use great organic essential oils to create natural scent to complement the product and your mood. Organic oils because they are grown without the use of artificial pesticides and herbicides, in soil free from artificial fertilisers and genetic modification and are extracted naturally so your skin gets the full benefit of richer, more effective oils.
What you won’t find in our products…
As a natural brand, none of our products contain synthetic chemicals, dyes, or fragrances and there are absolutely no phthalates, sulfates, parabens, harsh preservatives or petrochemicals. Neither do we test on animals or use animal by-products other than beeswax and honey.

From very small beginnings, Ruby Red is now available online at our Ruby Red shop , independent niche beauty retailers, etailers such as Amazon, seasonally at well known High Street retailers.
Our formulation team are busy developing new products. Natural products are more difficult to develop due to stability and concerns over sustainability, our new products take over 18 months to create and we make sure that they are all fully tested by our bio chemist before we launch. For us, it is still about giving you the very best quality, natural beauty products to make you look and feel great.
